Portraits
In this assignment, we were asked to take five portraits of five different classmates.
The things I looked at when composing this picture are the sunlight, the car, and the placement of the person on the car. This picture I wanted it to look like a tough picture with having him sit on the car and have a straight face. By having him give a straight face and sitting on the front of the car, this makes the photo look clean and tough looking. I believe I was successful in taking this picture.
The things I looked for in this photo was the position the person is sitting on a car, the sunlight, and the mood of the subject. This picture I wanted the picture to display as if the subject is thinking. I created this by having him sit in a neutral position and looking up as if he was thinking. I believe I was successful in creating this photo.
The things I looked for in this photo was the background of the subject, how the subject was positioned, and the sunlight. I wanted this photo to display that the subject is happy and on his way to school. I created this by having him in the parking lot with school in the background. I believe I was half successful in creating this because I do not like the shadow the sun made on the subject.
The things I focused on in this photo was that the subject was doing a similar position as the statue, the shadows, and what the subject is wearing. I displayed this because the subject does a similar position as the statue which creates a similar shadow and their colors are all one color. I believed I was able to take this photo very well.
The things I focused on in this photo was the car color, mood of the subject, and the distance I was from the subject. I did this by having the subject sit on a car that was similar to her shirt color and that the subject was smiling to display a happy mood. I believe I excueted this photo very well.
